Baustoff + Metall Expands to Switzerland

Effective July 7, 2026, Baustoff + Metall GmbH acquired 100% of the shares in Basel-based ISO-CENTER AG. With this move, the B+M Group is now represented in Switzerland and, consequently, in 15 European countries. ISO-CENTER is a full-service provider of technical insulation and insulation materials for building services and industrial insulation applications.

“This is a milestone we view with great joy and pride,” explains Christian Sperr, Managing Director of International Operations at Baustoff + Metall. “An acquisition is not an everyday occurrence, neither for us nor for our new Swiss team—but it is a strong sign that the B+M Group continues to grow in a healthy and sustainable manner.”

As part of this expansion, the five ISO-CENTER locations—Basel, Dübendorf, Puidoux, St. Gallen, and Wiedlisbach—are now joining the B+M Group.

Armin Toscan, Managing Director of ISO-CENTER AG, looks back on more than 20 successful years. He and his 45-member team are joining the Technical Insulation division effective immediately. For the associated business unit, B+M isol, this expansion of personnel represents a significant gain in expertise and market proximity.

With the five new branches, B+M isol now has a total of 24 locations—spanning seven countries: Austria, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy—and now Switzerland as well.
